Female electrical contact of the socket type, comprising a tubular body (1) defining a housing (3) provided with a front entry orifice (4) in order to receive a male electrical contact of the pin type and several elastically deformable contact blades (5) which are centrally curved radially inwards and which extend substantially longitudinally, being distributed according to a cylinder in order to form a cage, the said blades (5) being fastened to the body by one of their ends, characterised in that the blades are fixed to the body on the side of their front end and in that the front ends of the blades are joined together by a front ring (9) which closely follows the contour of the housing (3) in the vicinity of the entry orifice (4) of the latter and which is fastened to the latter. <IMAGE>

Contact électrique femelle du type douille, comprenant un corps tubulaire (1) définissant un logement (3) muni d'un orifice d'entrée antérieur (4) pour recevoir un contact électrique mâle du type broche et plusieurs lames de contact (5) déformables élastiquement qui sont centralement incurvées radialement vers l'intérieur et qui s'étendent sensiblement longitudinalement en étant réparties selon un cylindre pour constituer une cage, lesdites lames (5) étant solidarisées au corps par une de leurs extrémités, caractérisé en ce que les lames sont fixées au corps du côté de leur extrémité antérieure et en ce que les extrémités antérieures des lames sont réunies entre elles par une bague antérieure (9) qui épouse le contour du logement (3) au voisinage de l'orifice d'entrée (4) de celui-ci et qui est solidarisée à celui-ci. <IMAGE>
