Die Erfindung betrifft eine Offenend-Spinnvorrichtung mit einem besaugten, nach vorne offenen Rotorgehäuse, in dem ein Rotor mit hoher Drehzahl umläuft. Zum Verschließen des Rotorgehäuses ist eine Deckelelement (7) vorgesehen, dessen Deckelfortsatz (18) vorzugsweise als auswechselbares, rotationssymmetrisches Bauteil ausgebildet ist. Der Deckelfortsatz (18) ist mittels geneigt angeordneter Anlageflächen (31) sowie axial wirkender Befestigungsmittel (21) lösbar in eine Aufnahme (33) des Deckelelementes (7) angeordnet und wird innerhalb dieser Aufnahme (33) durch ein Paßmittel (26) lagegenau fixiert. <IMAGE>
