[origin: EP0656245A2] The vice comprises a base (57) bearing a stationary jaw (70) and a moving jaw (66) and a "body" (61) which are mounted so that they can pivot on one and the same spindle (59) borne by the base, and a clamping piece connected to the body so as to pivot on a spindle offset from the previous one, this piece having an eccentric cam surface (65) which may, under the action of a lever (64) vary the relative position of the body and of the moving jaw and push the latter when the body is butted up against the base. The vice may be mounted on a portable multi-function machine for shaping tubes. <IMAGE>
