Abstract (en)

The invention relates to a percussion primer for small arms, the primer consisting of a special metal such as zirconium as a reductant (reducing agent) and a mixture of oxygen carriers having different oxidation potentials as the oxidant (oxidising agent). The preferred production method is based on the water serving for temporary desensitisation being flushed out by an organic solvent. Preferably, the primer is used in small-calibre small arms employing cartridges which are used, for the purpose of training, in numerous enclosed (self-contained) underground firing ranges.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Perkussionszündsatz für Handfeuerwaffen, wobei der Zündsatz aus einem Sondermetall wie Zirconium als Reduktionsmittel und einem Gemisch von Sauerstoffträgern mit verschieden hohen Oxidationspotentialen als Oxidationsmittel besteht. Das bevorzugte Herstellungsverfahren beruht auf einem Ausspülen des zur temporären Phlegmatisierung dienenden Wassers durch ein organisches Lösungsmittel. Bevorzugt wird der Zündsatz in patronierten, kleinkalibrigen Handfeuerwaffen verwendet, welche übungshalber in zahlreichen geschlossenen Schiesskellern zum Einsatz gelangen.
