The invention relates to an item of crockery for presenting a waiter's bill. This item of crockery comprises a body with a base (3) circumscribed by a rim (8), and holding means (1, 2), such as a lid, which lies on the base (3) of said body in order to exert pressure on the top of the waiter's bill inserted between the base (3) of said body and the holding means (1, 2), which item is characterised in that the holding means (1, 2), which are in the general form of a lid, are hinged to the rim (8) of said body in such a way as to enable it to occupy two extreme positions with respect to the base (3) of said body, in one of which it rests on this base so as to hold the bill between the base (3) and the holding means, while in the other it is moved away from said base (3) to give free access (1, 2) to the base (3), the freely pivoting assembly of the holding means (1, 2) on the body being such as to enable the holding means (1, 2) to be moved by hand and by inertia. L'invention concerne une pièce de vaisselle pour la présentation d'un ticket d'addition Cette pièce de vaisselle comporte un corps avec un fond (3) circonscrit par un bord (8), et des moyens de maintien (1, 2), tels qu'un couvercle, s'étendant contre le fond (3) dudit corps pour exercer une force d'appui contre la face du dessus du ticket d'addition inséré entre le fond (3) dudit corps et les moyens de maintien (1, 2), caractérisée en ce que les moyens de maintien (1, 2) affectant généralement la forme d'un couvercle sont articulés sur le bord (8) dudit corps de manière à pouvoir occuper deux positions extrêmes par rapport au fond (3) dudit corps, l'une d'appui sur ce fond pour permettre le maintien du ticket entre le fond (3) et les moyens de maintien, l'autre éloignée dudit fond (3) pour permettre un libre accès (1, 2) au fond (3), ce montage à pivotement libre corps/moyens de maintien (1, 2) permettant la manoeuvre des moyens de maintien (1, 2) manuellement et par inertie.
