The invention proposes a key (10) comprising an elongate key body (11), one end (12) of which is connected to a gripping head (16) of the key (10), characterised in that the said end (12) of the key body (11) is connected to the gripping head (16) by connection means (54) which can be cut in the event of shocks on the gripping head (16) of the key (10). The invention is used for producing an ignition key, the gripping head of which consists of a housing for the remote control of the opening of the openable parts of a motor vehicle. <IMAGE>

L'invention propose une clef (10) comportant un corps de clef allongé (11) dont une extrémité (12) est reliée à une tête de préhension (16) de la clef (10), caractérisée en ce que ladite extrémité (12) du corps de clef (11) est reliée à la tête de préhension (16) par des moyens de liaison (54, ) sécables en cas de chocs sur la tête de préhension (16) de la clef (10). Application à la réalisation d'une clef de contact dont la tête de préhension est constituée par un boîtier de commande à distance de l'ouverture des ouvrants d'un véhicule automobile. <IMAGE>
