A box-like package, in particular for pourable products, consists of a cardboard sleeve which is closed at the bottom or of a multilayer lamination of cardboard and/or plastic and/or metal and a cup-shaped lid which can be inserted in the sleeve and has a bottom, an essentially cylindrical side wall bearing against the inner side of the sleeve, and an upper annular part which has, on the outside, a step resting on the end face of the sleeve and a gripping edge drawn inwards. Such a package can be produced cost-effectively and in a segregated design in that the cup-shaped lid consists of a thermoformed part, comprising its bottom and side wall and made of cardboard or a cardboard lamination, and a separately produced annular part connected to the thermoformed part.

Eine dosenförmige Verpackung für insbesondere rieselfähige Produkte besteht aus einer bodenseitig geschlossenen Hülse (1) aus Karton oder einem mehrschichtigen Verbund aus Karton und/oder Kunststoff und/oder Metall und einem in die Hülse einsetzbaren napfförmigen Deckel (2) mit einem Boden (4), einer im wesentlichen zylindrischen, der Innenseite der Hülse anliegenden Seitenwand (5) und einem oberen Ringteil (6), das außenseitig eine der Stirnseite der Hülse aufliegende Stufe und einen nach innen eingezogenen Griffrand (13) aufweist. Eine solche Verpackung läßt sich preisgünstig und in sortenreiner Ausführung dadurch herstellen, daß der napfförmige Deckel aus einem dessen Boden und Seitenwand umfassenden Tiefziehteil aus Karton oder Kartonverbund und einem gesondert hergestellten, mit dem Tiefziehteil verbundenen Ringteil besteht.
