In a wall made of hollow blocks with vertical cavities bounded by webs, long channels extending over a plurality of block courses are produced when thin-bed mortar is used. This reduces the heat insulation and sound insulation. If sheets are introduced between the block courses, the thin-bed mortar takes hold even in the region of the cavities, and the cavities of each block course are closed off.

Bei einer Wand aus Planziegeln (5) mit senkrechten, durch Stege begrenzte Hohlräume (11) entstehen bei der Verwendung von Dünnbettmörtel lange, sich über mehrere Steinlagen erstreckende Kanäle. Dies vermindert die Wärme- und Schallisolation. Wenn zwischen die Steinlagen Folien (15) eingebracht werden, findet der Dünnbettmörtel (16) auch im Bereich der Hohlräume einen Halt, und die Hohlräume jeder Steinlage werden abgeschlossen. <IMAGE>
