Abstract (en)
High-voltage transformers, in particular for space applications, must comply with special requirements. Their windings (W1, W2) are potted in an insulating compound (IM) for protection against flashovers. In order to avoid in particular glow discharges in critical pressure ranges, that end (1) of the secondary winding (W2) which has little load in terms of the DC potential is designed (SI) to be screened, and this screen (SI) is connected to the potential of that connection end (2) which is loaded more highly in terms of the DC potential. The last winding layer of the secondary winding (W2) then itself acts as a screen. The electrical load on the insulation is minimal, in particular in the critical pressure range (Paschen minimum). <IMAGE>

Hochspannungstransformatoren insbesondere für Weltraumanwendungen müssen besonderen Anforderungen genügen. Zum Schutz gegen Überschläge sind ihre Wicklungen (W1, W2) in Isoliermasse (IM) eingegossen. Um insbesondere Glimmentladungen in kritischen Druckbereichen zu vermeiden, wird das gleichspannungspotentialmäßig niedrig belastete Ende (1) der Sekundärwicklung (W2) geschirmt ausgebildet (SI) und diese Schirmung (SI) auf das Potential des gleichspannungspotentialmäßig höher belasteten Anschlußendes (2) gelegt. Die letzte Wickellage der Sekundärwicklung (W2) wirkt dann selbst als Schirmung. Die elektrische Belastung der Isolierung wird insbesondere im kritischen Druckbereich (Paschenminimum) minimal. <IMAGE>
