[origin: EP0660448A2] In the case of an arrangement between two electrical contact mating elements which are joined together by connection and one of which is fixed in a stationary manner in a housing of an electrical appliance using a detachable latching connection and is inaccessible after manufacture of the electrical appliances being completed, while the other contact mating element is accessible in order to release the electrical connection and can be withdrawn from the stationary contact mating element, that contact mating element which is arranged in a stationary manner is surrounded by a protective housing which holds said contact mating element in the contact position while the electrical connection is being released and joins together and screens the stationary contact mating element and its contact points to a very large extent. <IMAGE>
