[origin: WO9502516A1] Method of producing a plaster finish with ornamental patterns and tools for carrying out said method. The method is characterized by applying a plaster layer on the surface to be coated; after a given time in which setting starts, tracing the desired pattern using a tool (1) guided by a tool guide (2) in order to remove plaster as defined by the contours of the pattern to appear in colour; preparing a plaster having the desired colour for the pattern surface(s); applying the plaster to regions of the pattern corresponding to the colour before setting of the first plaster layer; and removing the coloured plaster excess which has overflowed after setting of the coloured layer.
