[origin: EP0661514A1] A firearm (10) comprises a breech block (12) movable between a closed position, in which the breech block (12) shuts off a chamber (17), and an open position, in which the chamber (17) is opened in order to receive ammunition coming from a loading tube (13). Lock-forming means (16) are designed to keep the breech block (12) in the open position, and unlocking means (14), designed to place the lock-forming means (16) in the unlocked position when the loading tube (13) is displaced in the opposite direction to the chamber (17), are mounted on the loading tube (13). <IMAGE>
