[origin: WO9407986A1] There is provided a detergent composition suitable for use in a machine dishwashing process containing a surfactant system at a level, in ppm by weight, of greater than 1500 times the critical micelle concentration measured in water, using the method described herein. There is also provided a machine dishwashing process comprising treating soiled articles selected from crockery, glassware, hollowware and cutlery and mixtures thereof, with a wash solution having dissolved or dispersed therein an amount of the detergent composition such that the concentration of the surfactant system in the wash solution is at least six times the critical micelle concentration of the surfactant system, measured in water.
