Abstract (en)
The stabilizing cushion has two wedged parts (1) made of covered foam with each wedged part fitted with a supporting mat (2). When the two mats are overlapped the body weight of the user holds the two wedged parts at a distance from each other to form the lying channel in which the user lies so that his back, stomach and sides are well supported. The two wedged parts can have the same size and length, with the length running from the head to the seat area of the user. To stabilize the sides of babies and toddlers two different length wedged parts can be used of which one extends from the head to seat area and the other covers the chest and stomach area.

Das Stützkissen zur Stabilisierung der Rücken, Bauch- und Seitenlage von Erwachsenen und Kleinkindern (Säuglingen) weist zwei Keilteile (1) aus von einem Bezug (5) umgebenen Schaumstoff und eine an jedem Keilteil (1) befestigte Unterlagematte (2) auf, die im überlappten Zustand durch das Körpergewicht die beiden Keilteile (1) im Abstand zueinander fixieren. Die Unterlagematte (2) ist in Form eines Lakens mit Abstand oberhalb der Unterkante (UK (4)) des Keilteiles (1) an demselben befestigt und bildet einen schrägen und/oder bogenförmigen Mattenstreifen (2a) zur Erhöhung der am Körper anliegenden Fixierspannung. <IMAGE>
