Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0662543A2] The device is for the fixture of a line conductor to stressed concrete sleepers on railway tracks. The sleepers (1) have a vertical through bore (2) in the centre in which a plastics plug (3) is inserted from above, which has a head (5) extending over the sleeper upper edge (4). Accommodation grooves (9) for the line conductor run crossways to the sleepers. The plug is hollow and has several all-round sealing lips (7) on its outside. These sealing lips point inclinedly upwards. The head (5) in cross-section is circular blunt conical and the accommodation groove is rectangular in cross-section. It is upwardly open and the open side is formed by a narrow side of the rectangular cross-section.
