[origin: EP0662567A2] The linear drive has a guide tube which through its side wall has a longitudinal slot and in which a piston is displaceably located in the longitudinal direction. At least one closure device closes the end side of the guide tube. A driven component is formed by a rib which is connected to the piston and which engages through the longitudinal slot. At least one separate profile component is arranged in the longitudinal slot (12) which extends at least along the longitudinal extent of at least one flank (13) of the longitudinal slot and is connected with a sealing band (16) so that between the sealing band and the guide tube (2) a securing connection is formed.
