[origin: EP0662591A1] The heating boiler has a combustion chamber (44) with a burner aperture (26) and a flue gas aperture (28). A water chamber (36) is thermically connected to the combustion chamber. It has a forward flow connection and a return flow connection for the heating circuit. The combustion chamber is a hollow sphere. The boiler has two halves (12) pivotable or displaceable against one another, whose hemispherical inner surfaces supplement the combustion chamber and in whose walls water pipes (30) are embedded through which there is a forced flow, forming the water chamber. The boiler halves are aluminium press castings with moulded-in water pipes of refined steel.
