Abstract (en)
The device measures small time intervals. A number of input pulses of equal duration are used by a microprocessor (11), a control circuit (1 to 7), register for the input pulses and measure device for them. The register has a summer (6) and an input pulse counter (8). It determines the minimum number of pulses needed to form a certain registered time width that just exceeds a predetermined interval in the summer. The measurer has an oscillator (2) with a scanning pulse counter (9) and a time-extender. It multiplies the registered time width by an extension factor to give a scan time. The microprocessor evaluates the time interval from the ratio of scan time to the product of the minimum number of pulses and extension factor.

Eine Einrichtung zur Messung eines Zeitintervalls Δt verwendet für eine Messung wenigstens N gleich breite und aufeinanderfolgende Eingangsimpulse mit der Breite Δt aus einem Impulspaket und weist einen Mikroprozessor (11) als Auswertemittel, eine Steuervorrichtung (1, 3, 4; 5, 7, 11) sowie Registriermittel für die Eingangsimpulse und Messmittel für die in den Registriermitteln registrierten Eingangsimpulse. Die Registriermittel bestehen aus einem Summierglied (6) und einem Eingangsimpulszähler (8) und bestimmen die minimale Anzahl der Eingangsimpulse kmess, die nötig sind, um eine Registriersumme ΔtS durch Zusammenzählen der kmess Breiten Δti zu bilden, die ein im Summierglied (6) fest vorbestimmtes Registrierintervall R gerade überschreitet. Die Messmittel umfassen wenigstens einen Messoszillator (2) mit einer Periodendauer Tosz, einen Abtastimpulszähler (9) und ein Zeitdehnglied (10) und vervielfachen um einen Dehnfaktor z die Registriersumme ΔtS zu einer Abtastzeit Δtmess. Das Auswertemittel berechnet die Länge des Zeitintervalls Δt aus dem Verhältnis der Abtastzeit Δtmess zum Produkt aus der minimalen Anzahl der Eingangsimpulse kmess und des Dehnfaktors z. <IMAGE>
