Abstract (en)
The procedure enables control of an electromagnetic actuator (1) having two active stable positions and a rest position. The actuator includes a mobile armature (3) linked to the element to be moved, for example an internal combustion engine valve. The armature is arranged in the air gap (e) between two identical electromagnets (11,12). It is held in this rest position by the balanced forces of two identical springs (31,32). Switching is achieved by activating the second electromagnet a predetermined time interval (delta-T) after the cutting of current to the first electromagnet, and vice versa. The excitation of the second electromagnet may be advanced w.r.t. this time (delta-T), with the timing being adjusted for optimum effect according to the speed of operation.

Procédé de commande d'un actionneur électromécanique (1) à deux positions actives stables dans lequel la commutation de l'une à l'autre position active s'effectue en commandant la deuxième position lorsqu'un temps ΔT prédéterminé s'est écoulé depuis la fin de la commande de la première position active et vice-versa, comportant les étapes suivantes: a)- la commande est avancée par rapport au temps ΔT prédéterminé pour un fonctionnement optimal dans les conditions normales; b)- on coupe le courant d'excitation de l'électro-aimant actif à un moment déterminé par le déplacement de l'organe mobile (3,5); c)- on rétablit le courant d'excitation après une durée de coupure ΔTC fonction du déplacement de l'organe mobile. Le dispositif pour la mise en oeuvre du procédé comporte un capteur (6) de la position de l'organe mobile (3). Application à la commande électromagnétique de soupapes. <IMAGE>
