Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0662702A1] A connection between levers (3) for a multipole switch moving on a common axis (2) uses a gripper (5) on each lever and a pin (1) passing between each gripper. The grippers are elastically deformable, with an axial slot between two legs into which the pin is pressed. The slot has an undercut to match the profile of the pin, sited near the free end. The outside edges of the legs are chamfered to ease the insertion of the pin into the slot. The pin is thicker over the distance between the grippers than within the slots. This is created by notching the pin.
