[origin: WO9407990A1] Detergent anionic surfactant granules of high anionic surfactant content can be produced by neutralization of anionic surfactants in their acid form using a powdered neutralizer, with simultaneous granulation and, as needed, simultaneous drying. Preferably this involves the neutralization of fatty alcohol sulfonic acids, alkyl benzene-sulfonic acids and/or (alpha)-alkylsulfonic acid methyl ester acids with an excess of sodium carbonate, and the simultaneous granulation with other liquid components, in particular with anionic surfactant pastes, aqueous hydrogen peroxide solution and/or a zeolite suspension. This production can be effected in any apparatus in which neutralization can be carried out simultaneously with granulation and drying. Preferably this preparation takes place in a continuous fluidized bed system.
