Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0663283A1] The drainage component comprises a rod-shaped, flexible drainage core (4) with flow paths for conducting away the pressed-out fluid from the press chamber (2) and a fluid-permeable filter casing (6) surrounding the core. At least one end of the discharge component is fixed to a juice collection plate, press plate (1), or to the press cover. Also provided is a rubber-elastic cuff (8''') surrounding the drainage core (4) in the fixture area. At least one support component (23'') is provided for the cuff, and is connected to it such that its deformability in a part area in the fixture area is strongly limited in relation to the remaining part.
