[origin: DE4401210C1] The invention relates to an electric monorail conveyor for transporting and pulling loads with a driven running gear, consisting of a drive wheel which can be moved on a running rail, and two auxiliary wheels. The core of the invention consists in the fact that the auxiliary wheels are pressure rollers which are arranged against the underside of the running rail, that the pressure rollers have half the diameter of the drive wheel and that a distributor shaft which drives the pressure rollers has the same speed of revolution as the drive wheel. The advantages achieved with the invention consist in particular in the fact that the running gear of an electric monorail conveyor "hooks" into the running wheel automatically with a high degree of frictional engagement so that even gradients or inclines can be thus travelled over readily.
