[origin: DE4400389C1] In a method for guiding and expanding a fabric web (W), with a spreading roller (1) and pressure elements (2, 3), an actuator (4) controlled by a regulating device acts on the regulating stage in such a way that the distance between the pressure elements (2, 3) and the spreading roller (1) is varied. The more favourable properties which the regulating stage has in this case ensure a rapid and stable regulation of the position of the fabric web. This is of decisive importance particularly in the case of highly sensitive fabric webs, such as, for example, wide-mesh textile webs (Figure 1). <IMAGE>

Bei einem Verfahren zum Führen und Breithalten einer Warenbahn (W) mit einer Ausbreitwalze (1) und Andruckelementen (2, 3) wirkt ein von einer Regeleinrichtung angesteuertes Stellglied (4) so auf die Regelstrecke ein, daß der Abstand der Andruckelemente (2, 3) von der Ausbreitwalze (1) variiert wird. Aufgrund der günstigeren Eigenschaften, die die Regelstrecke in diesem Fall aufweist, ist eine schnelle und stabile Regelung der Warenbahnposition gesichert. Dies ist insbesondere bei hochempfindlichen Warenbahnen wie z.B. weitmaschigen Textilbahnen von entscheidender Bedeutung. <IMAGE>
