[origin: EP0663506A2] A door frame comprises a mounting bracket (20) adapted to abut in use with at least two sides of a reveal in an opening (10), a frame member (30) from which a door (50) is suspended, and a capping member (40) extending between the mounting bracket (20) and the frame member (30). The mounting bracket (20) is an elongate metal angle having an L-shaped cross-section, a first limb (21) of which is adapted to be secured to the reveal and the second limb (22) of which has a plurality of studs (23) for connecting the mounting bracket (20) to the frame member (30). The frame member (30) comprises a metal section having a mounting portion (31), a wall portion (32, 33) and a returned portion (34) providing access to the studs (23) prior to mounting of the capping member (40). Mounting portion (31) is fastened to second limb (22) by means of clamps (24) held fast to the studs (23) by a nut and washer arrangement (25, 26). <IMAGE>
