Abstract (en)
The monitoring probe monitors goods in danger of being stolen. It has a sensor element to monitor a usual contact of the probe (10) with the goods. A connection cable (12) connects the probe (10) to a monitoring circuit of a theft prevention system. If the usual contact between the probe (10) and the goods is removed, the probe (10) provides a signal which can be evaluated by the monitoring circuit as an alarm situation. The probe (10) includes a flexible contact element (14) which normally lies flat on the goods and makes contact. Its shape is thus determined by the shape of the goods. The sensor element of the probe (10) comprises a wire strain gauge on which a force is exerted when the usual contact between the goods and the probe (10) is broken. Thus a change in the shape of the contact element (14) results in a change in the output signal.

Es wird ein Überwachungsfühler (20) für diebstahlgefährdete Ware mit einem Sensorelement zur Überwachung eines ordnungsgemäßen Kontakt des Fühlers mit der Ware und mit einem Verbindungskabel zum Anschließen des Fühlers an eine Überwachungsschaltung (12) einer Diebstahlsicherungsanlage vorgeschlagen. Beim Aufheben des ordnungsgemäßen Kontaktes mit der Ware stellt der Fühler eine Meßgröße zur Verfügung, deren Änderung von der Überwachungsschaltung als Alarmsituation auswertbar ist. Um den Fühler in einer Flachbauweise herstellen und problemlos auch mit gewölbten Flächen einer zu sichernden Ware verbinden zu können, sind der Fühler und das Sensorelement flexibel ausgebildet, wobei eine Formänderung beim Aufheben des ordnungsgemäßen Kontaktes von Fühler und Ware in einer Änderung der Gestalt des Kontaktflächenelements und in einer Änderung der Meßgröße resultiert. <IMAGE>
