[origin: EP0663706A1] The connector includes a male 91) component cooperating with a female component (2). The male component has a cylindrical conductor body (3) housing a central contact (4) terminated with a pin (5) and separated from the body by an insulating sleeve (6). The body front extends with a cylindrical skirt (8). The body is connected to a coaxial cable (13). The female component of the connector has a hollow cylindrical body (20) and a central contact terminated with a socket (22) which is engaged by the pin. A conic circular groove is provided on the body of the female component. This groove is engaged by a ring (11) provided on the male body which thus secures the connection.
