Abstract (en)
[origin: WO9407808A1] The invention relates to a casting compound containing ceramic powder, binders and a dispersing agent suitable for producing green ceramic films by the film casting process. Its dispersing agent is essentially water and the binder is an emulsion copolymer made up of 95 to 75 wt.% acrylic or methacrylic acid esters and 5 to 25 wt.% (alpha),(beta) ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acids in a proportion of 2.0 to 10 wt.% in relation to the total weight of the casting compound. Said emulsion copolymer is according to the invention in the form of microbeads with an average particle size, expressed in average weight dw, in the range of 75 to 150 nm.
