[origin: FR2696817A1] The apparatus comprises a hearth (2) provided with a loading opening, a combustion grid (8) disposed in the stove bottom, an air inlet opening and a combustion gas chimney, with the outlet being connected to the stove's upper portion. The invention is distinctive in that the chimney (3) is fitted with a combustion gas outlet manifold (34) oriented downwards, with its lower end opening to the exterior. The manifold contains a water diffuser (6) which is also oriented downwards.
