Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0664256A1] The bearing (15) for the swivelling rocker-arm (11) is positioned on the side of, and behind the tension-shoe (10) in the direction of tightening (14). The axle of the rocker arm lies between the support surface (16) of the tension-shoe and a base plate (8). The tension shoe has a support surface at least partly in the form of a cylindrical recess for holding a plastics band (1) and for supporting the tensioning wheel (13). The rocker arm is connected to the housing (3) by means of a spring (17) with adjustable force. The rocker arm is moved by a tension lever and a closure sensor (21).
