Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0664364A1] The stiffening rail is for dividing walls, the support ribs of which have uprights (1) of plate profiles and wall surfaces (3, 4) of plasterboard plates. The stiffening rail (6) joins adjacent uprights. The stiffening rail has a core plate of plaster cardboard and a metal plate surface encases the core plate on its front surface, the two long edges and at least the two edges of the back surface. On the two ends of the stiffening rail an extension of the front surface connects to a plate metal fixture strip (12) which is fixable on the outside (1a) of the corresponding upright (1).
