[origin: EP0664365A1] The panel has at least two flat superimposed panel components (7, 8) of sound-insulating material are joined to one another with the aid of adhesive also acting as sound-insulating stop layer (9). The room-side surface (10, 10') is smooth or structured and the ceiling-side surface (12, 12') is provided with cavities and/or sound-absorption apertures (13). The cavities and/or sound absorption apertures (11, 13) are arranged on the room-side and on the ceiling-side. The adhesive acting as sound-insulating stop layer covers the complete surface. The space wt. of the panel components is pref. 270 to 350 kg per mxpower3. As adhesive, an anorganic material is used.
