Abstract (en)
The undercut bolt (12) slides on a guide (11) fixed to the leaf of the door or window and engages in a mating component (13) secured to the fixed frame so as to prevent hinging open. A cylinder lock (15) secures the bolt in the engaged position. The plate-shaped bolt completely covers the guide in the open position, and both this and the mating component in the engaged position. Both the guide and the mating component can have dovetail-shape protrusions over which the bolt fits. Components (19,20) working together on bolt and guide can limit movement of the bolt in either direction. The bolt can be spring-supported on the guide, and both the latter and the mating component can have fixing holes which are masked by the bolt in the engaged position.

Riegelschloß (10) für Tür-, Fenster- od.dgl. Flügel, mit einem am Flügel zu befestigenden Riegelführungsteil (11) eines von Hinterschneidungen längsverschieblich geführten Riegels (12), mit einem am feststehenden Rahmen befestigten Riegelaufnahmeteil (13), an dem der in Riegelstellung (14) verschobene Riegel (12) Schwenköffnungsbewegungen des Flügels verhindernd angreift, und mit einem Schließzylinder (15), der eine Sperrung des Riegels (12) in der Riegelstellung (14) erlaubt. Um ein Riegelschloß (10) mit den eingangs genannten Merkmalen so zu verbessern, daß es ohne Vernachlässigung des Sicherheitsaspekts kompakt ist und ein ansehnliches Äußeres hat, wird es so ausgebildet, daß der Riegel (12) im wesentlichen als Platte ausgebildet ist, die in der Offenstellung des Riegels (12) das Riegelführungsteil (11) praktisch vollständig abdeckt, und die in der Riegelstellung (14) des Riegels (12) das Riegelführungsteil (11) und das Riegelaufnahmeteil (13) praktisch vollständig abdeckt. <IMAGE>
