Abstract (en)
The cover (1), particularly a sump or valve-cover, contains rubber bushes (7) in holes for fixing screws (10). Pre-loading of an elastomer seal (4) running along the cover edge is adjusted by a metal spring (8), which can be supported on the metal surface (9) of the cover. The screws can bear against the spring in their axial direction. The bushes can be fixed to the spring, which can be of steel and of the leaf type. It can have a sound-dampening coating (11) where it bears against the cover.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Gehäusedeckel (1) zum lösbaren, flüssigkeitsdichten Befestigen am Motorblock von Brennkraftmaschinen. Zur Erzeugung einer hinreichend guten Vorspannung in der Dichtung (4) sind metallische Federkörper (8) vorgesehen. <IMAGE>
