Abstract (en)
An electrical high voltage power switch has a pair of switching contacts (1, 2) that are hollow for the passage of extinguishing gas. An arcing space (4) connects with a heating volume (8) and the extinguishing gas is heated and passes through a gap. The drive side has a compression arrangement (12, 13) and a second compression arrangement (16, 17) is on the other side. During switching the compression piston (17) moves to reduce the volume and extinguishing gas is forced through a channel (20) and into the heating volume to provide the required action.

Bei einem elektrischen Hochspannungs-Leistungsschalter mit zwei einander koaxial gegenüberstehenden Schaltkontaktstücken (1, 2) die zur Abfuhr von Löschgas hohl ausgebildet sind und mit einem diese im Einschaltzustand überbrückenden, mit einer Antriebseinrichtung verbundenen Überbrückungskontaktstück (5) sowie mit wenigstens einem die Schaltkontaktstücke (1, 2) umgebenden Heizraum (8) und mit einer ersten, auf der der Antriebseinrichtung abgewandten Seite des Heizraums (8) koaxial zu den Schaltkontaktstücken (1, 2) angeordneten Kompressionsvorrichtung (12, 13) ist erfindungsgemäß eine zweite Kompressionsvorrichtung (16, 17) auf der dem Schalterantrieb zugewandten Seite des Heizraums (8) vorgesehen, wobei beide Kompressionsvorrichtungen (12, 13, 16, 17) mittels der Antriebsseinrichtung des Schalters antreibbar sind. <IMAGE>
