[origin: DE4234466A1] The invention relates to a process for determining the concentration of an active agent containing a tracer in aqueous or non-aqueous solutions of active agents. The concentration is measured via a determination of its tracer contents. The tracer used is a fluorescent colorant which measures the fluorescent colorant in the solution photo-optically and determines the agent's concentration correspondingly from the measurement obtained. The active agent concentration and any eventual subsequent dosage can be determined reliably, accurately, rapidly, continuously and with few breakdowns.
