Applicator for cosmetic or pharmaceutical prods. consists of a hollow elongated housing (1), closed at one end and open at the other, and contg. a holder (4) for the stick prod. (6) in the shape of a socket (5) on the end of a strip. The strip is made from a flexible material and its edges are able to slide in grooves (26) along the inside of the housing which pass round curves (30) at the back and extend beneath an elongated port (18) in the housing's upper wall. Part of the surface of the strip has a series of projections (46) which form a grip for the thumb, allowing the stick to be extended from the housing or retracted by sliding the strip along the grooves. The far end of the strip covers the open end of the housing when the stick is fully retracted.

L'invention comprend un étui pour bâton de produits pâteux cosmétiques, pharmaceutiques ou analogues. Cet étui est du type comprenant un boîtier (1) creux de forme allongée, fermé à une extrémité (13) et ouvert à l'autre (14), un godet (5) porteur du bâton (6) monté axialement mobile dans ledit boîtier, un dispositif de déplacement (4) du godet, comprenant un ruban en un matériau flexible, fixé à une extrémité au godet et portant au niveau de l'autre extrémité des moyens de commande extérieure de déplacement du ruban, solidaires du ruban grâce à une fenêtre longitudinale (18) dans la paroi supérieure du boîtier. L'étui est caractérisé en ce que le ruban est guidé dans des rainures de guidage (26) du ruban (4) sur chaque paroi latérale (9) de l'étui s'ouvrent vers l'extérieur au niveau de l'ouverture (16) du boîtier, de façon que le ruban (4) puisse être introduit dans le boîtier à travers cette ouverture, et en ce que le ruban (4) est réalisé en un matériau flexible présentant une rigidité dans sa direction longitudinale, qui est suffisante pour permettre son introduction à travers cette ouverture par une force de poussée (F) exercée sur le ruban dans la direction de son insertion. L'invention est utilisable pour des étuis de bâton de produit cosmétique. <IMAGE>
