[origin: EP0664984A2] The drawer extension comprises a control cable (10) which is fixed to the support rail and extension rail. The control cable is guided over guide pulleys at the front and rear ends of the centre rail. The control cable has two free ends which can be coupled by a socket part (12) and insert part (13) which have gear rod type profiles. Two further coupling parts which can be coupled by gear rod type profiles are provided, one of which serves as the cable coupling part (11) fixed on the control cable (10) and the other is the rail coupling part fixed on the extension rail (15). A spring-tensioned entrainment member moving in a linear guide path ensures the closed drawer is always drawn completely into the furniture carcass.
