Abstract (en)
The machine has a horizontal slide movable by a drive in two opposing directions for accommodating a tool to be ground. It also has a vertical slide with a probe device fitted to the grinding spindle movable by a drive in opposing directions. The sensing device has a probe finger which is movable relatively to it and at least vertically to the horizontal slide. A component is provided which emits a path-dependent signal to control at least the drive of the horizontal slide. Remote from the sensing device is formed a lower end of the probe finger (13) acting as probe section (25) and beneath the swarf surface probe edge (37) is a swarf chamber base probe edge (28).

Eine Maschine zum automatischen Schärfen der Räumzähne (18) von Räumwerkzeugen weist eine Abtasteinrichtung auf, die mit einem Tastfinger (13) versehen ist. Dieser weist an seinem unteren Ende eine unterhalb einer Spanflächen-Tastkante (37) befindliche Spankammergrund-Tastkante (28) zur Anlage am Spankammergrund (21) des Räumzahnes (18) und eine oberhalb einer Freiflächen-Tastkante (36) befindliche Spanflächen-Anlagekante (27) zur Anlage an der Spanfläche (19) des Räumzahnes (18) entfernt von dessen Schneide (23) auf. Die Spankammergrund-Tastkante (28) einerseits und die Spanflächen-Anlagekante (27) andererseits nehmen die Spanflächen-Tastkante (37) und die Freiflächen-Tastkante (36) - bezogen auf die Bewegungsrichtung des Räumwerkzeugs beim Schleifen - zwischen sich auf. <IMAGE>
