Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0665154A1] The two suspension brackets (11,12) extend on either side of the block brake unit (1) to its lower end (1b). They are connected to it via a lower pressure or tension member (14,15). The upper end (1a) of the brake unit between the upper ends of the brackets, is connected to an upper pressure or tension member (13). The suspension brackets are fastened to the vehicle or bogie frame (5) via an upper cross pin (17). The pin passes through a transverse bore (18) in the upper end of the brake unit. Both brackets are formed as leaf springs.
