[origin: EP0665184A1] The control system has a computer (1) to determine the theoretical variation of hoisting speed as a function of equations for the oscillation of the hanging load and other parameters. The system has a speed controller (6) with a current controller (4) for the motor and a signal for the computed theoretical driving torque is added at the output of the speed controller. A position controller (12) receives a signal for the theoretical movement of the load from the computer, and its output passes through a switching unit with a slowly rising characteristic before reaching the input of the speed controller.
