Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0665351A1] The lock has magnet wheels that can be moved into such a position that the lock rod is released from a locking position into a release position, or vice versa. The corresponding magnetic key has rotatable disks within a plastic housing. Each disk can adopt two positions. In each disk and magnet wheel, there is an eccentric magnet. The key fits into a slit in the lock housing. It has a cutaway section in one corner which engages with part of a locking spring. There is also a holding spring which biases against the movement of the lock rod not only from lock to release positions, but also from release to lock positions.
