[origin: FR2697256A1] Hydroxylated polyethers having lateral perfluoroalkylated groupings of formula (A) in which RF is a perfluorinated grouping having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, R1 is a radical capable of bearing one or more hydroxylated groupings different from the radical [ (CH2)m - C(R2R3) - ], n is an integer equal to 1, 2, 3 or 4, the identical or non-identical groupings R2 and R3 have general formula (CH2)pX wherein p = 0 or 1 and X is selected from the following groupings: hydrogen, chlorine, methyl, alkyl O, allyl ether, x is 1 - 25, y is 0 - 25, m = 1, 2 or 3. Said polyethers, precursors of fluorinated polyurethanes, can be obtained by cationic polymerization of a monomer based on perfluoroalkylated oxiranes in an inert organic solvent.
