Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0666186A1] The method involves the printed products (20) being arranged between the sides (18) of an outer part (10). The printed products are located within one another and/or next to one another. Processing and transport means are provided for individual transport of the outer parts with the printing products arranged within them. A device is provided for application of the open edge (22) opposite to the arm of the outer part when the latter is folded (14). The open sides (29) connecting to this fold (14) are separably connected with one another by connecting means (24). The device for application of connecting means involves an adhesive band dispensing unit which issues an adhesive band bridging over the open sides (29) and pressure means are provided for pressing the end areas (24') of the adhesive band section (24) on the arm (18).
