Abstract (en)
A process for making-off the needle and shuttle threads on the material in an embroidery machine by application of a clamp and associated cutter element in relation to the needle entails: a) formation of a thread loop on the reverse of the fabric (7) after insertion of the embroidery needle (10) through the fabric while the cut-off end of the needle thread (11) is held in the front clamp element (8), b) an inter-looping of the needle and shuttle threads by passing the shuttle (2) through the loop, c) a relative movement of needle (10), shuttle and fabric (7) to assist drawing the needle thread end through the entry spot (12) the desired distance from the clamp opening.

Beschrieben wird ein Verfahren zum Ansticken der Nadel- und Schiffchenfäden am Stoff einer Stickmaschine unter Verwendung eines Klemmelementes (8), das der Nadel (10) zugeordnet ist, wobei nach dem Einstechen der Sticknadel durch den Stoff, wobei das abgeschnittene Fadenende des Nadelfadens (11) in dem vorderen Klemmelement (8) gehalten wird, eine Fadenschlinge auf der Rückseite des Stoffes gebildet wird, das Schiffchen (2) die vom Nadelfaden gebildete Schlinge geschoben wird, wodurch eine Verschlingung von Nadelfaden und Schiffchenfaden erzeugt wird, und daß anschließend eine Relativbewegung zwischen Sticknadel (10), Schiffchen (2) und Stoff (7) vorgesehen ist, um das Fadenende des Nadelfadens nach dem Öffnen des Klemmelementes beliebig weit durch die Eintrittsstelle im Stoff hindurchziehen zu können. <IMAGE>
