Abstract (en)
The insert, designed to be incorporated in an article prior to handling by a manipulator with an expanding mandrel, consists of a pot-shaped component with an upper cylindrical section (32) made to receive a centering element on a manipulator gripper, and a lower section (34) with an inner cavity which diverged towards the bottom to receive the expanding mandrel. The inlet end of the cavity has a diameter which is smaller than the inner diameter of a tubular component on the gripper which contains a retractable mandrel. The depth of the cavity (21) is greater than the height of the mandrel section it is designed to receive, leaving a recess to contain a locking element.

La présente invention a pour objet un insert destiné à être incorporé à un objet devant être assujetti à un engin de manutention ou à un support au moyen d'un dispositif de préhension à mandrin expansible. Cet insert est constitué par une pièce en forme de pot comprenant une partie supérieure cylindrique (32) apte à recevoir une pièce de centrage du dispositif de préhension et une partie inférieure (34) dans laquelle est formée une cavité (21) s'évasant vers le bas et apte à recevoir le mandrin, l'entrée de cette cavité ayant un diamètre inférieur au diamètre intérieur de la partie supérieure. <IMAGE>
