[origin: EP0666395A1] In a vertical displacement body channel (8a) in a chest inner wall, displacement bodies (9) superimposed on one another forming a V-shaped groove (32) in their contact areas are supported at the top and bottom against spring force. Several rotary catches (4) engage with a displacement device in one of the V-shaped grooves and work in conjunction with a closure wedge device arranged on a drawer. The displacement body channel is formed from several vertically aligned holes (8) which are positioned in discrete vertical superimposed module blocks (3). On the chest inner wall is provided a vertical rail for accommodation of the module blocks.
