Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0666417A1] The fuel injected engine is of the type that consists of fuel injectors (42), with associated combustion chambers (30). A rigid case (50) is linked to the ends (48) of the supply line to the fuel injectors, forming a channel (58) for the provision of fuel to the injectors. A circuit, for the ventilation of the injector nozzles (44), is formed by a channel (52) for the provision of air. The channel is fitted with orifices (54), which open in the vicinity of the injector nozzles, and is connected to the main ventilation circuit by means of an air feed pipe (60), which is integral with the rigid case (50), carrying the fuel and air supply.
