[origin: DE4236217C1] The invention concerns a submersible motor unit (1) designed to be secured in place on the floor of a liquid-filled container (2) and which has a specific gravity which is lower than that of the liquid concerned. Coupling elements (7, 8) are fitted on the motor unit (1) and on the floor of the container (2) so that the motor unit (1) can be detachably attached to the floor of the container (2) via a Bowden cable (11) which passes through the coupling element (8) fixed to the floor (4) of the container and which is attached to the motor unit (1), thus applying a force which counteracts the effect of buoyancy. In another embodiment of the invention, the motor unit has a ballast tank which can be filled with liquid.
