Abstract (en)

[origin: WO9410636A1] A player bus (10) providing bidirectional transmission of digital data. Interface devices are connected along the bus in a daisy chained manner and data transmission is performed serially. The transmission of audio signals corresponding to a displayed video image is also provided as is a clock signal (27) providing vertical and horizontal synchronization (31) to devices on the bus. An IR link (16) may be provided within the bus for wireless transmission.
